Dirty boy

There lived a family of giants. They had a son named Mohan. Mohan was very sad. He was very unhappy with his dirty little self. Birds had built nests in his ears. His teeth were all decayed and he was sore with athlete’s foot.

He had no friends, no one wanted to come near him; especially beautiful pearl. She was so gentle, so sweet and so clean and only wanted to play with the Bratoons, who smelled of fragrant soap.  

Little Mohan would have loved to be a Bratoon, but he did not know how to. So he decided to visit the kingdom of wisdom and meet the queen of prosperity. But when he got there, the guards would not let him into the castle, because he was so dirty. Forlornly, he went home.

But on the way, as luck would have it, he met the Queen, on her way back from collecting something precious from the Good Fairy’s grotto. The Queen stopped, and listened to little Mohan’s sad story. Then she smiled kindly and said that she had the solution to all these problems. She gave little Mohan the bag she had got from good Fairy and showed him how to use it. In the bag, there was a toothbrush, some toothpaste, some soap and even fragrance.

`Everyday, wash yourself all over with soap. Clean your teeth after every meal. Wash you hands regularly. And splash on a bit of fragrance before you go and speak to the beautiful pear!’ said queen, and so, little Mohan worked hard on all these things.

In there days, he changed into a lovely little Bratoon who had lots of friends, especially beautiful pearl who thought he smelled wonderful.
